NEW NEENAH® MULTI-TASK ABRASIVE BACKINGS CAN BE USED WET OR DRY

ALPHARETTA, GA. (March 31, 2005) — The Technical Products business of Neenah Paper has introduced NEENAH® Multi-Task Abrasive Backings for the less demanding applications throughout the global market. Multi-Task Backings can be easily coated by abrasives converting companies using a variety of grit sizes for wet or dry applications.

Multi-Task backings are available with barrier coatings and in a variety of colors and weights. The smooth barrier coatings provide make-coat adhesive hold-out, which results in a more flexible paper with excellent cut performance. The bi-directional orientation of the pulp fibers in the sheets allows straighter tears in all directions, and the backings resist curling during and after processing.
